Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. With her signature spiky blond hair and bubbly personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of restaurant dishes and reveals simple, easy-to-learn techniques for home cooks in her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has worked for a time in New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine tradition and its geography. Additionally, she competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for food and cooking in her early years. She pursued her passion for the restaurant industry by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced the most enjoyable time of my life. It was hard to study how to do, or even work hard enough. Following graduation, Chef Burrell resided in Italy for one year studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin highly rated restaurant) located in Tuscany. When she was in Italy she acquired an appreciation for and understanding of Italian food. It had a significant impact on how she views food. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also has been on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps kids who have challenges. She frequently travels around the nation in her capacity in the capacity of mentor and public speaker in which she speaks about her work and passion for cooking. Anne has said during her career in the kitchen she's grateful to share with others what is most important to her.
